The providers listed below have taken steps to address connectivity needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. Keep reading to learn more and click your provider for additional details (listed in alphabetical order). 

Follow social distancing requirements and remain at least six (6) feet away from any fellow Georgian who is not a member of my household.

This is not a complete list of all companies that are offering free and low-cost internet options.   • Comcast’s Xfinity WiFi locations in many Georgia communities have been opened up by Comcast for  access free-of-charge to anyone who has a device that can connect to the signal, including non-Xfinity Internet subscribers

  • Several companies are continuing internet outage service repairs, in addition to working with school districts to open Wi-Fi hotspots.

Georgia EMC

  • Many of the state’s 41 electric membership corporations (EMC) have offered temporary payment policies and alternative payment methods as well as modified business procedures based on CDC and healthcare provider recommendations
  • Information and updates related to individual EMC efforts during COVID are being communicated directly to their members through EMC websites and social media channels
